Agility Gas Technology - Patents

Agility Gas Technologies realizes that Intellectual Property must clearly and completely protect itself and its current and potential partners from intrusion into its unique business. Its first two patents that were awarded in the GCC states and a similar patent that was awarded in the United States describe the art of storing and transporting high value mixtures and pure components such as ethylene, ethane and propylene in conjunction with LNG such that LNG can cool the high value materials and commensurately serve as a fuel source.

The patents owned by Agility Gas Technologies, originally assigned to Synfuels International, can be found at the following Web address. The GCC patents are found at: gccpo.org/AboutUsEn/QuickSearchEn.aspx

The listed patents are GC 0005240 and GC 0007990. The first is METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR STORING AND TRANSPORTING GASES and the second is A METHOD OF STORING AND TRANSPORTING LIGHT GASES.

The US patent is found at: patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/PTO/srchnum.htm - under patent number 9683703 and carries the title METHOD OF STORING AND TRANSPORTING LIGHT GASES.

Agility Gas Technologies has executed an agreement to acquire pending patents from Colddor LLC of Texas.
The first pending Colddor application is PCT/US19/12966 and carries the title
THERMAL CASCADE FOR CRYOGENIC STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF VOLATILE GASES.

This application expands the art of cryogenic transfer to three or more liquids as well as a wider range of pure components and operational situations.

The second pending Colddor application is US 62/920,099 entitled SUBCOOLED CRYOGENIC STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF VOLATILE GASES.

This application claims the advantage of transporting cryogenic liquids below their flash points resulting in enhanced transport safety and operational flexibility.

Agility Gas Technologies has recently developed preliminary transport ship designs with the assistance of Herbert Engineering Corporation. During the design effort, HEC identified several unique attributes of Agility's technology that are being converted into additional patent applications owned by Agility Gas Technologies relevant to ship design and function.

As Agility Gas Technologies develops, we expect the number of patents to grow quickly because mankind learns best by doing. The current patents reflect the work of just one person. As more people consider the technology from other viewpoints, such as ship design, more patents will come. We fully expect creativity will blossom with input from our future partners and customers.
